Satay Beef with Spaghetti (沙嗲牛肉意粉)

Sometimes I just want a quick lunch but don't feel like having sandwich or instant noodle.  Today I was sorting out my pantry and found out I have a jar of satay sauce and some pasta.  I then decided to make this simple HK style satay beef with spaghetti for lunch.



Ingredients:
8 oz        Beef
1 pk        Spaghetti
4 Tbsp    Satay Sauce
2             Green Onion
1/2          Onion
1/2          Bell Pepper
1 cup      Chicken Stock
2 Tbsp    Cornstarch
2 Tbsp    Water


Method:

  1. Cook the spaghetti per package instruction, then drain the water and set aside
  2. Heat up the pan, add cooking oil and saute beef, onion, bell pepper and green onion until cooked
  3. Add satay sauce and chicken stock into the pan with the beef
  4. Add cornstarch into water and mix well, then put into the satay beef
  5. Cook until the sauce is thicken
  6. Pour the satay beef with sauce onto the spaghetti, then serve hot.

Enjoy this nice and easy lunch or dinner!
