Simple Korean fried noodle that you can make at the comfort of your own home. To make it more fun, you can make your own noodle.
Ingredients: (1 serving)
Hand-cut Noodle:
1 cup All Purpose Flour
2 tsp Cornstarch
3/4 cup Water
1 pinch Salt
Fried Noodle:
1 cup Kimchi
1 Tbsp Chopped Onion
1/4 cup Chopped Carrot
1 clove Minced Garlic
1 Tbsp Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
Method:
For the hand-cut noodle:

1 cup All Purpose Flour

3/4 cup Water

1 Tbsp Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
Method:
For the hand-cut noodle:
- In a bowl, mix together flour, salt and cornstarch
- Pour in water and knead into a dough
- Knead until smooth and let it rest for 30 minutes
- After it's rested, turn it into a well-floured surface and roll it to a large rectangle dough around 1/8" thick
- Use a sharp knife to cut the noodle into thin strips
- Boil a pot of water, add pinch of salt and cook the noodle until it floats to the top
- Drain and rise with cold water...set aside
Stir Fry the Noodle:
- Heat up a pan and add oil
- Cook the onion and carrot until softened
- Add noodle into the pan and stir fry with Gochujang, sugar and soy sauce
- Once mixed well, turn off the heat and add sesame oil
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve hot
You can add any meat of your choice too.
