Tofu with Pea and Shrimps



Ingredients:

1 pkg  Egg Tofu (or any soft tofu)
1 cup  Snow Peas
1 cup  Shrimps (or any seafood)
1 tsp   Minced Garlic
1 tsp   Minced Ginger
1 cup Chicken Stock
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 pinch Salt
1 tsp   Sugar
1 tsp  Cornstarch
2 Tbsp Water

Method:
  1. Cut tofu into 1/2 inch thick pieces. Place on heatproof dish and steam for 5 minutes.  Since tofu is already cooked, this is just basically reheating it.  You can even put it in microwavable container and heat it up for 30 seconds.
  2. Heat up a wok or pan, stir fry the ginger, garlic, shrimp and snow peas.
  3. Pour in chicken stock and season with salt, soy sauce and sugar.
  4. To thicken the sauce: after the shrimp is cooked, mix together cornstarch and water, then pour into the stir fry
  5. It's done with the sauce is thickened.
  6. Pour the stir fried pea and shrimps on tofu and serve hot.
