Steamed Lobster with Garlic and Rice Noodle

This steamed lobster dish is super easy to make.  The lobster is steamed in its own juice and then the rice noodle at the bottom absorbed all the yummy juice from the lobster.  I like to use the Le Creuset buffet casserole for this dish as it retains heat and moisture so well that I don't even need to add additional water.

Ingredients:
(Serves 4)
1                Whole Lobster
8 oz            Rice Noodle
2                Green Onion
5 slices       Ginger
8 cloves       Garlic  (chopped)
4 Tbsp         Chicken Stock
4 Tbsp         Dry White Wine
5-6 pieces    Napa Cabbage (enough to line the bottom of the pot)

Steps:

  1. Clean the lobster and cut into pieces
  2. Cut green onion into 2 inches strip
  3. Drizzle some oil to the bottom of the pot, line it with the napa cabbage leaves
  4. Line the rice noodle on top of the cabbage, then put the lobster on the rice noodle
  5. Sprinkle the chopped garlic and ginger on the lobster, then top it with green onion
  6. Drizzle the chicken stock and the white wine on the lobster
  7. Cover pan and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes or until lobster is cooked through
Yummy 1-pot steamed lobster is served!
