Steamed Spareribs in Garlic and Fermented Black Bean Sauce with Rice Noodle (蒜蓉豆豉排骨蒸陳村粉)


This steamed spareribs dish is very easy to make.  The rice noodle at the bottom absorbed all the sauce and it's super yummy.


Ingredients:
1 lb           Spareribs cut into small pieces
3 Tbsp      Fermented Black Bean Sauce
2 Tbsp      Chopped Garlic
1 tsp         Soy Sauce
1 tsp         Cornstarch
1/2 tsp      Sugar
1/2 pack   Flat Rice Noodle

Method:

  1. Thoroughly clean the spareribs under running water
  2. Mixed the spareribs with the fermented black bean sauce, garlic, soy sauce, sugar and cornstarch and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight)
  3. Line the bottom of the heat proved dish with rice noodle
  4. Put the marinated spareribs on top of the rice noodle and steam for 15 minutes or until spareribs are cooked through
