Ingredients: (for two)
8 pieces Scallops
1/2 pkg Pasta of your choice
1 cup Dry White Wine
1 cup Broccoli (chopped in small pieces)
3 Tbsp Butter
1/4 cup Heavy Cream
1/4 cup Seafood Stock (or Chicken Stock)
Salt & Pepper
Method:
- Boil a pot of water and cook pasta according to package direction, drained and set aside
- Clean scallops and dry them with paper towel
- Season scallops with salt and pepper
- Heat up a pan to medium high heat, seared scallops for about 1 minute on each side or until brown and cooked through.
- Set scallops aside and keep warm while preparing the sauce for pasta
- Use the same pan, deglaze pan with white wine and seafood stock, add broccoli and cook for 2 minutes
- Add heavy cream and butter and cook until sauce is thickened
- Return pasta to the sauce and mix well
- Serve pasta and top with seared scallops
