Need a super easy appetizer idea? Try these grilled prawns with yummy Thai green curry sauce. You can grilled it at the backyard BBQ or even make a large batch in your own. I got these big prawns from Costco. They are meaty and very yummy.
Ingredients: (serve 4)
8 Large Shrimps/Prawns
2 cups Micro Brocoli
2 Tbsp Thai Green Curry Paste
2 Tbsp Melted Butter
2 tsp Coconut Milk
1/2 cup Chicken Stock (or Shrimp stock if you have it)
1/2 Lemon
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper
Method:
Ingredients: (serve 4)
8 Large Shrimps/Prawns
2 cups Micro Brocoli
2 Tbsp Thai Green Curry Paste
2 Tbsp Melted Butter
2 tsp Coconut Milk
1/2 cup Chicken Stock (or Shrimp stock if you have it)
1/2 Lemon
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper
Method:
- Clean and devein prawns, thoroughly clean them and patted dry. Season with salt and pepper
- Coat prawns with melted butter
- Grill them at your BBQ grill (or bake them in a 400F oven for 10 minutes until cooked)
- For the sauce, mix together the Thai Green Curry Paste and Chicken Stock then heat it up
- Once the sauce is boiled, add Coconut Milk to thicken
- Clean Micro Broccoli and drained dry
- To plate, put the Micro Broccoli in the middle, drizzle with olive oil and top with salt and pepper, place grilled prawns on top of the micro broccoli. Drizzle the Thai green curry sauce over the grilled prawns.
